Criminal Profiler Prerequisites

I'm not entirely sure what is required to become a Criminal Profiler. I realize that I would need to be a FBI field agent for a while, but before that? What College courses would be nesessary? Would I need to be a Police Officer first? What is the application process for the FBI?

I'm still in high school, but I really want to be a Criminal Profiler when I'm older. If anyone could answer me in detail, that'd be great. Thanks.
